Every movement of your systems, ON RECORD
BAEVLE LLC is a computer systems design practice that builds the instrumented layer beneath serious operations. From our instrument vault at 349 E 1000 N, Orem - 84057-3303, we design structural sensor networks, machine condition monitoring, alert pipelines and archival telemetry platforms so that a facility never has to guess what happened and never has to wait to find out.
We treat every signal as a record worth keeping. A drum turns, a stylus rests against paper, and the trace is written whether anyone is watching or not. That is the discipline we bring to industrial monitoring: continuous, legible, and permanently archived.

The Practice
A monitoring integration practice, not a dashboard vendor
Most operators do not struggle because they lack data. They struggle because their data lives in twelve places, in twelve formats, and nobody can prove afterward what the readings actually were at the moment that mattered. BAEVLE LLC closes that gap by designing the whole instrumented path: the sensors that touch the structure, the logic that decides when something is worth alarming, and the archive that keeps the record intact for years.
We work with facilities teams, plant engineers and industrial operators who need monitoring that survives audits, shift changes, staff turnover and vendor churn. Our designs are documented, calibrated and reproducible. When an event happens at three in the morning, the trace should already be on the paper.
Recorded Channels
Six services, each written down and kept
These are the six channels we instrument. Each one is a full service with its own deliverables, and each one links through to the detail on our services page.
-
Structural Sensor Network Design
We plan and place accelerometers, strain gauges, tilt sensors and displacement transducers across a structure so the instrumented points match the way the structure actually carries load. Rather than scattering hardware, we map each mounting point to a behaviour we want to observe.
The output is a sensor plan, wiring schedule and mounting specification that a site team can install without guesswork.

Machine Condition Monitoring
Rotating and reciprocating machinery tells you it is failing long before it stops. We build vibration, temperature and current monitoring around motors, gearboxes, pumps and compressors so wear trends become visible weeks ahead of a failure.
Baselines are captured at commissioning, and seasonal or load-driven variation is separated from genuine degradation.

Alert Pipeline Engineering
An alert that arrives late, twice, or not at all is worse than no alert. We engineer the logic layer that turns raw readings into thresholds, rates of change, suppression windows and escalation rules, then route each class of event to the right people.
Every rule is versioned, so you can explain months later exactly why an alert fired and who received it.

Telemetry Archive Platforms
We build the long-term store: time-series ingestion, retention policy, and a query surface that answers what a given sensor read at a given second, years back. Archives are designed for the lifetime of the asset rather than the lifetime of a licence.
Data stays exportable in open formats, so the record belongs to the operator and not to a single tool.

Sensor Calibration Services
Sensors drift. A network that was trustworthy in year one can be quietly misleading in year four. We run scheduled calibration verification, reference comparison and documentation so every channel carries a defensible accuracy statement.
Calibration records are filed alongside the telemetry they qualify, which keeps an audit trail clean and complete.

Remote Monitoring Integration
Where a site is unmanned, seasonal or simply far away, we integrate the field layer into a managed remote view. Gateways, buffering and store-and-forward handling keep the record continuous through network outages.
Operators see the same trace whether they are standing on site or a thousand miles away.

BAEVLE LLC opens its winter monitoring window for facilities planning structural and machine instrumentation before the cold season, and our drafting bench is already preparing sensor schedules for operators who want the record running before the first freeze.
Why Operators Choose The Vault
Built for the long record
The trace keeps writing
A monitoring design that stops during a network fault is not a monitoring design. Every BAEVLE LLC installation includes local buffering, defined reconnection behaviour and a documented answer to the question of what happens when the link drops. Remote monitoring integration is treated as a core engineering concern rather than an afterthought.
Readings a new engineer can trust
Sites outlive their staff. We document sensor placement, calibration history and alert logic so a person who has never visited the plant can still reconstruct what a channel measures and why it matters. Sensor calibration services keep that documentation current year after year.
Alarms that mean something
Alert fatigue is a design failure. Our alert pipeline engineering deliberately withholds noise: rates of change, suppression windows and escalation tiers are tuned to the way a real maintenance team responds, not to the maximum number of notifications a system can emit.
The record belongs to the operator
Our telemetry archive platforms store data in open, exportable formats with retention rules tied to the asset lifecycle. When a vendor changes, a licence lapses or a format falls out of fashion, the historical trace is still there and still readable.
Instrument the behaviour, not the room
We begin every structural sensor network design engagement by asking which modes of movement matter: settlement, fatigue, resonance, impact. The hardware follows the question, which keeps channel count honest and every installed sensor justifiable.
Hear the fault before the failure
Machine condition monitoring turns vibration and thermal signatures into a trend line a planner can act on, so maintenance is scheduled against wear rather than against breakdown. The savings come from the un-dramatic intervention that happens early.
Engagement Method
How an instrument vault is commissioned
-
Survey and objective setting
We walk the structure and the machine hall with your engineers, agree the behaviours that must be observed, and define what a meaningful event would look like. No hardware is specified until the objectives are written down.
-
Sensor plan and mounting schedule
Every proposed channel is mapped to a location, an orientation, a mounting method and a cable route. You receive a schedule that can be priced, installed and inspected on site.
-
Installation support and commissioning
We support the installation team through mounting, wiring and first power-up, then capture baselines and verify that each channel responds as the design predicted.
-
Alert logic and escalation design
Thresholds, rates of change and routing rules are configured, tested against recorded data, and versioned. Each rule carries a written rationale.
-
Archive deployment and handover
The telemetry store, retention policy and query surface are deployed, and your team is trained on reading the record and exporting it for audits or investigations.
-
Calibration cadence and review
We set the ongoing calibration schedule and return for periodic review, adjusting the design as the asset ages and the questions change.
